I woke up this morning to a nightmare - beginning in January NJ will be under the rule of a corrupt criminal who will destroy everything that our previous govenor worked so hard to improve. Women and children will suffer the most when the new governor cuts programs for education and changes the rules to help insurance companies make more money and not pay for needed medical exams. NJ just may end up having a govenor that beats Alaska's ex-govenor Palin for the title of worst ever. I honestly don't how so many people got fooled in to voting for some one so corrupt and determined to take care of the rich and let the poor and middle class suffer. They will just have to find out the hard way when Christie ruins our state - and unfortunately the rest of us will also have to suffer under the cold rule of this slimy, lying, only-out-to-help himself, supporter of Bush's failed policies politican.
Right now I just want to cry in frustration. But I also plan on finding out who will be the Democrat candidate for the next election and work as hard as I can to get him or her elected next time.

Elitist,arrogant,money grubbing,self absorbed politicians that feed on big business funding , It corrupts to the point they no longer care about constituants.New Jersey just elected one of the scariest,he flaunts his own brand of pandering ! Things just got worse without a doubt ! Too bad this State always does it the hard way.
I can't say that I am pleased about Christy's win, but can you be more specific about stuff that he's done that you find so objectionable? Thank-you!
conscious at last - I have talked with people who know first hand how corrupt he is and how he uses his position to get out of everything from traffic tickets to other legal issues.
On top of being a criminal - he is a Republican - which means he supports businesses first, greed, and money for himself and friends first and cares nothing for any one elswe.
He has stated he feels preschool is babysitting and therefore not necessary; he supports more profits for insurance companies and will not require them to cover mammograms for women. I've also heard from reliable sources in education that he plans to drain the state retirement fund almost completely - which will result in my husband losing his retirement.
The previous Republican govenor did the same thing - all state workers and teachers who retired at the time were doomed to poverty since the amount received is dependant on what is in the funds. Once Christy drains the fundes again we will have another generation of state workrs ane teachers who will suffer - including my family. There isn't enough time between getting Christie OUT of office and getting a Democrat in office who can than build the fund back up to provide for at least a bare minimum of a retirement.
He is the worst kind of Republican and politician - corrupt and greedy - and as time goes on I'm sure he will find even more ways to screw every single citizen of NJ (except of course his cronies).
